2. It is very easy to give up an idea once you see the number of flaws in it. Whether you realize these flaws yourself or your classmates/professors identify these flaws, it can be hard to find the motivation to keep pursuing your idea. However, what is important is adapting to their reflections, your idea may just become true.

Hi Tommy,
ReplyDeleteI really love how you focused on your ability to receive and adapt to criticism. This is an incredibly important ability that I feel isn't focused on enough by young entrepreneurs in today's world. With there being new avenues to receive criticism through technology, and also with today's audience becoming more and more sensitive, this is becoming an extremely reveling skill to learn. No one is perfect, and one's ability to understand this and improve upon themselves is imperative. Great job on this assignment!
Hey Tommy,
ReplyDeleteYou really hit the nail on the head with the accepting criticism topic. It's easy to see how the younger generation can be just a tad narcissistic with their viewpoints and ideas (which can be both a good and bad thing), and how many people can't seem to accept criticism as easily as those who have been doing this for a while. I also liked that you touched on passion. I, for one, think this may just be one of the most important qualities an entrepreneur can have. If you don't have passion for your concept, then no one else will either. Great job!
